Beta Motorcycles Press Release:
On the other side of the ocean, round two of the FIM SuperEnduro Series kicked off in Germany. During the off-season of the AMA EnduroCross series, riders head overseas to stay in shape and gain further experience racing amongst the best technical riders in the world.
Beta USA’s Kyle Redmond joined Giacomo Redondi in Germany to represent Beta on his Factory 300 RR. At the first round, the SuperEnduro promoters served up a track vastly different than the US tracks which was tight, technical, and slippery. Luckily, round two echoed more of an American style track. In FIM SuperEnduro, riders are involved in a Superpole hot lap and then they race three motos to determine the overall winner.
Kyle Redmond:
“The track was faster and pretty fun. It was more of an American style track so I liked it. I need to figure out the fast lap qualification so I’m not on the second row and miss the chaos I got involved with. I will be working on sprint laps until Finland [the third round of the series].”
Redmond finished 10th in the first race, 10th in the second and 13th in the final race.
The next SuperEnduro round resumes February 1st in Finland.
