BMW has announced plans to showcase the ConnectedDrive Store at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
Set to be launched in the United States next spring, the ConnectedDrive Store will enable drivers to access a variety of features such as Online Entertainment, Concierge Services and Real Time Traffic Information from their car. The automaker was coy on specifics but stated the ConnectedDrive Store will resemble "well-known smartphone stores" and will display all the services that are available.
As we have previously reported, BMW will also use the Consumer Electronics Show to introduce an i3 prototype which has an advanced 360-degree collision avoidance system and a fully-automated Remote Valet Parking Assistant system which will enable the car to park itself in a parking garage.
