McLaren Special Operations (MSO) will be in charge of customizing a P1 commissioned by businessman and philanthropist Miles Nadal.
If the blue and orange exterior paint scheme looks familiar, that's because Miles Nadal was inspired by a racing livery of the McLaren F1 GTR. The supercar's Akebono carbon ceramic brakes have orange calipers while the front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser feature subtle orange pinstriping detail. McLaren Special Operations also made some tweaks to the interior cabin where there are customized controls and bespoke seat details.
One of the only 375 cars set to be built, the McLaren P1 mixes up a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 with an electric motor to generate a combined output of 916 HP (674 kW) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft). It's enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in less than three seconds and a top speed electronically limited to 217 mph (350 km/h).
