According to a recent report, Hyundai has decided to stop offering the Veloster in the United Kingdom.
The company declined to elaborate on the move but it is believed that slow sales are to blame. Whatever the reason, Hyundai has removed all traces of the car their consumer website.
While it's sad to see the car being dropped from the U.K. lineup, Hyundai will reportedly position the new i30 Turbo as a Veloster Turbo replacement. This won't appease everyone but at least the car has a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine that develops 186 PS (137 kW) and 265 Nm (195 lb-ft) of torque.
