Former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has hinted he, James May and Richard Hammond could return with a new show.
Speaking at a charity auction for Chipping Norton Lido for the first time since he was axed from BBC, Clarkson said to the audience “now some of you know there used to be a program called Top Gear. It was on the BBC". Before auctioning a Top Gear Kung Fu Stig T-shirt, “signed by a former presenter“, he also added “we could be back somewhere else. Or maybe even not somewhere else, who knows?”
No further details are available at the moment, but about a month ago a report said James May and Richard Hammond are not willing to film new Top Gear episodes without Clarkson. As BBC executive reportedly commented, “there is a feeling that it is all of them or none of them”.
