Porsche Sales and Marketing boss says they have "lots of ideas" for a 911 hybrid

Porsche's Sales and Marketing boss has revealed the company hasn't ruled out a 911 plug-in hybrid.

Speaking to Automotive News, Bernhard Maier said Porsche has a "lot of ideas" for a 911 plug-in hybrid but none of them have been confirmed for production. He went on to say "The 918 Spyder shows that Porsche has the capability to produce very convincing hybrid sports cars."

While Maier wouldn't commit to making a 911 plug-in hybrid he said he is a true believer in the technology and people are beginning to understand the benefits that plug-in hybrids offer.
