At Japan Grand Prix, the Spanish rider Dani Pedrosa earned 1st place in the 14th stage of the world championship MotoGP at Motegi circuit. Pedrosa finished the race ahead of Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) with a difference of 8.57 seconds, and 12.127 seconds ahead of the Spanish rider Jorge Lorenzo.
