At Japan Grand Prix, the Spanish rider Dani Pedrosa earned 1st place in the 14th stage of the world championship MotoGP at Motegi circuit. Pedrosa finished the race ahead of Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) with a difference of 8.57 seconds, and 12.127 seconds ahead of the Spanish rider Jorge Lorenzo. Indonesia will be added to the tour calendar of the 2017 Motorcycle World Championship. The president of the company, stated: "Indonesia is very important for us especially in the motorcycles segment. The Indonesian state is interested in providing all necessary requirements from logistics to infrastructure to host the event."
