Mercedes unveils its brand new GLE 450 AMG 4MATIC SUV!

Mercedes AMG family is getting bigger and we’re super excited about their brand new addition.

The youngest member of the family is the brand new Mercedes GLE 450 AMG who obviously got the good traits of its “ancestors”: the C 450 AMG and the GLE 450 AMG Coupe. Same as these two, the new SUV features a 3.0L V6 biturbo engine delivering 362 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque. The gearbox is of 9 speed (9G Tronic) automatic transmission supported by its rear-biased 4Matic all-wheel drive system.

The GLE 450 AMG 4Matic gives sports car fans a reason to fall in love with it. The brand new Mercedes SUV offers a sportier handling through a designated AMG suspension along with a Sport Direct- Steer system. In 5.7 seconds this beauty can go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) by reaching a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).

Moreover, you can notice five driving modes all dependant of the driving situation: Individual, Comfort, Slippery, Sport and Sport Plus, along with modified: throttle response, switch points, shift speed, load development, steering, engine sound, chassis and instrumentation.

Did we say that sports car fans have a reason to fall in love with the GLE 450 AMG 4Matic? Allow us to rectify ourselves: This GLE gave us ALL a reason to fall for it. If you’re looking for high standards, security along with good looks, the youngest member of the AMG family has it all in one package. The later dynamic’s level is above-average thanks to the rear-biased set up with the all-wheel drive system, the adapted acceleration skid control ASR, the electronic stability program ESP and last but not least the curve dynamic assist. New to the AMG family, the rear axle transmission has a shorter ratio of 3.47:1.

Now that we know that the new GLE is “young by heart”, the brand new Mercedes SUV shows outstanding exterior details that give it a sporty look through two chromed twin tailpipe trims exclusive in black and silver chrome, and high-sheen 20” alloy wheels. From the inside, the GLE 450AMG defines inner beauty. The interior showcases nappa leather sports steering wheel with a flattened bottom section, light longitudinal-grain aluminum trim parts, brushed stainless steel sports pedals, sporty round dials on the instrument cluster and 280km/h speedometer scale.
