Beirut, Lebanon: Rasamny-Younis Motor Company (RYMCO), the authorised distributor of Infiniti in Lebanon today announced a sales increase of 75% for 2015 compared to the same period last year.
The double digit growth concludes a year of success for the Infiniti distributor which saw Rymco launch the new and exclusive Infiniti IREDI centre in Dbayeh as well as the introduction of the new Q70 sedan.
Rymco’s sales were led by the Infiniti Q50, the model accounting for the largest increase. Since its launch, the Q50 has been a key contributor to our success both globally and locally in the region. The Q50 is the first of Infiniti’s new era of customer focused products that blend the latest technologies with pioneering design.
Infiniti’s core SUV offering also contributed strongly for the premium marque, with the QX50 leading the way with a triple digit increase in sales of 433%.
Commenting on the strong results, Fayez Rasamny, Chairman of Rymco, said: “As the authorised distributor for Infiniti, we are extremely proud of these results. The numbers are a clear testament to the great products that we offer as well as the premium experience afforded to our customers through our Infiniti centres.”
Rymco intends to further build on these performances for the year ahead. 2016 will see Infiniti continue its product offensive with the introduction of the new QX50 and QX60 in the second quarter. The all-new Infiniti Q30 is also poised to debut in the latter end of the second quarter. Representing Infiniti’s first global entry into the fast-growing premium compact segment, the Q30 will play an important role in helping the company realize its plans for global as well as local growth.
