Police caught six unlucky reckless drivers racing and performing doughnuts down Al Qudra Road, crossing Emirates Road near Arabian Ranches. They were told that they will be penalized with Dhs2000 fines and Dhs100 for every day the vehicle is impounded. Their bad luck didn’t end here. They will be facing also a repair bill of half a million dirham!
The damages on the road were estimated to Dhs496000. YES, Almost half a million Dirham to fix the damages and remove the tire marks from the roads.
Head of Dubai Police, General Khamis Mattar Al Muzaina, stated that reckless driving is not tolerated on Dubai roads. Earlier last month, another fine of Dhs500000 was given to a driver racing and damaging the same street!
All racers tend to avoid the police, but they were all caught later on.
Moral of the story: Do not mess with the bigger Boss!
